Responsibilities

• Opening, cleaning and distributing customer gages.
• Performing measurements of NIST reference gage blocks masters.
• Acquire, calibrate and place into service reference gage block masters.
• Learn and perform gage block measurements using optical interferometry.

Skills

Familiarity with NIST's gage block calibrations methods and procedures

Familiarity with NIST's quality system requirements
