Job summary

Top-Tier Bank in New York City is seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to support Relationship Managers in promoting banking products and services to prospective clients in New York.

The role focuses on evaluating transactions, conducting initial due diligence, performing loan classifications, and assisting with post-disbursement reviews. You will also help establish business relationships and prepare credit analyses to support credit decisions.

Qualifications

• 1+ year related experience preferred, and experience of credit analysis or client facing in banking or non-banking financial institutions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist RM to evaluate transactions and negotiate terms with banking partners and/or prospective clients.
• Assist RM to perform the initial due diligence analysis.
• Assist RM to perform loan classification.
• Assist RM to perform post-disbursement reviews and prepare the post disbursement report.
• Assist RM to establish business relationships and promote bank products and services to prospective clients based on the client’s needs and potential business opportunities.
• Assist RM to prepare credit rating and credit line applications and perform credit and financial analysis and prepare credit application reports.
