ATTENTION

The Registrar Office at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks an Assistant Registrar (AE225).

Job Details

The Assistant Registrar assists and supports the University Registrar in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating various facets of the operations of the Office of the Registrar. Responsibilities include overseeing student enrollment records, registration procedures, scheduling, catalog maintenance, and communication with students, faculty, staff, and the public. The role involves supervising staff, developing policies, managing systems like PeopleSoft and Workday, and participating in university committees and initiatives. The Assistant Registrar also supports commencement activities and contributes to enrollment and retention efforts.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of registrar and higher education experience.
  • Two years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with student information systems, degree audits, curriculum systems, or similar data systems.
  • Ability to interpret regulations and policies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience in a University Registrar's Office.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, CourseLeaf CIM/CAT, 25Live.

  • Participate in commencement planning and organization.
  • Support enrollment and retention initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff.
  • Assist the University Registrar in office functions and supervision.
  • Promote compliance with policies and regulations, including FERPA and security initiatives.
  • Collaborate with campus departments and counsel students and advisors.
  • Maintain effective communication strategies.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and team efforts.
  • Represent the office in the Registrar's absence.
