Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two or more years of parks and recreation experience in community centers and youth programs.
  • Minimum one year in lead or senior capacity preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily programming and management of Hargraves Community Center and Nate Davis Senior Gymnasium.
  • Plan and evaluate youth/teen programs, afterschool, and community events.
  • Coordinate marketing, reports, contracts, and purchasing orders.
  • Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff and volunteers.
  • Develop and monitor program budgets and revenue/expense reports.
  • Ensure safety compliance and complete weekly/monthly safety and program reports.
