Family owned Sunbury, Ohio manufacturing company with over 30 years of success looking for an individual to serve as an Assistant Purchasing Agent for the purchasing and receiving department. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable of purchasing and inventory control, capable of multitasking, strong communication skills, and should have experience with Quickbooks for manufacturing. The duties and skills of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Receiving orders into Quickbooks
• Unloading semi trucks with a forklift
• Using bill of materials to create purchase orders
• Placing orders with purchase orders
• Working directly with Accounts Payable to make sure all paperwork is processed in a timely fashion
• Building and maintaining vendor relationships
• Ability to negotiate
• Knowledge of raw metals and items found in home improvement and auto stores helpful
• Organizational and time management skills

This job requires someone who is willing to hit the ground running to learn as much as possible in as short a time frame as possible. Need not apply if you are not self-motivated.

This position is essential with the niche market we serve manufacturing Television Mobile Production Trucks, Mobile Command Centers, Satellite Uplinks, Mobile Medical Facilities, and more.
