Job summary

Quinnipiac University seeks an innovative Assistant Provost for Data Strategy and Director of Institutional Effectiveness to transform how the university uses data for performance insights and strategic decisions.

You will lead the data strategy function, partnering with academic and administrative leaders to deliver timely, actionable analytics and predictive insights that inform policy and resource allocation.

Qualifications

Master's degree in higher education, data science, social science, or related field.
7–10 years in institutional research, institutional effectiveness, analytics, or related field, preferably in higher education.
Demonstrated leadership in institutional research, analytics, or data strategy.
Strong analytical, quantitative and qualitative skills with experience communicating findings.

Responsibilities

Lead data strategy and institutional effectiveness to turn data into actionable insights.
Partner with senior leaders to align data capabilities with Quinnipiac's strategic priorities.
Oversee data governance, reporting standards, dashboards, and responsible data use.
Drive self-service analytics and reduce manual reporting across the university.
Mentor staff and collaborate with IT, finance, admissions, and academic units.
