Job summary

Quinnipiac University invites applications for the position of Assistant Provost, Executive Director of Institutional Research and Assessment. This senior academic leader translates institutional data into strategic intelligence that advances academic excellence and organizational effectiveness.

The role leads the combined Institutional Research and Assessment functions, oversees data infrastructure and analytics tools, and drives adoption of AI in reporting.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in higher education, data science, social science, or related field.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in institutional research, institutional effectiveness, assessment, strategic planning, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the combined Institutional Research and Assessment functions with focus on data, analytics, and evidence‑based practices.
• Oversee data infrastructure, dashboards, governance, and standards for data consistency and usability.
• Drive adoption of AI and emerging technologies in data reporting and analytics.
• Provide reports to accreditation bodies, leadership, and governance with actionable insights.
• Supervise two staff in institutional research and learning assessment.
