Job summary

Urban Edge Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a retail portfolio. You will work under the Regional Director of Property Management, growing into independent oversight of assigned properties, with emphasis on budgeting, vendor coordination, tenant relations, and inspections.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in related roles, a basic understanding of building systems, and a drive to learn and contribute to asset success across high‑quality

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's preferred.
• 1-3 years in property management, administration, facilities, operations, or related field.
• Basic understanding of building systems and vendor coordination.
• Retail/commercial real estate exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections and report findings to Regional Director.
• Progressively manage assigned properties with increasing independence.
• Coordinate with tenants, vendors, and internal partners daily.
• Assist in annual operating budgets and capital improvement plans.
• Support vendor management including proposals, services, and performance tracking.
• Maintain records of operations, contracts, and tenant communications.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests promptly.
