Job summary

Paramark Corp in Rochester, MN is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day property operations at Hillside Park Apartments. You will handle resident relations, lease administration, and coordination with vendors to ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained properties.

You will be the first point of contact for residents, assisting with inquiries, rent collection support, and coordinating with staff across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management is preferred.
• Experience with affordable housing paperwork is required.
• Must possess patience, flexibility, active listening skills, assertiveness, and compassion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Proven problem-solving abilities are necessary.
• The candidate should be flexible, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently.
• Basic computer skills are required, along with a willingness to learn new software programs.
• Experience with Yardi and RentCafe software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent the property and have the opportunity to build positive relationships with both residents and program staff.
• This role serves as the first point of contact for residents, so it’s important to communicate in a friendly, helpful, and engaging manner.
• You will also enhance your knowledge and skills to effectively work with diverse populations.
