Job summary

Hive Apartments in Dallas is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in achieving operational and financial success for the community. You will oversee on-site accounting, drive occupancy and marketing efforts, and ensure delinquency control while maintaining resident and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities include rent collection, move-in inspections, file maintenance, and coordinating move-ins with the team.

Qualifications

• Two years+ of residential property management experience as Assistant Property Manager.
• Leads by example and demonstrates leadership potential.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Know the relevant Fair Housing laws and property management regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager to ensure operational and financial success of the community.
• Oversee all on-site accounting functions.
• Drive occupancy, marketing, expense control, and delinquency management.
• Maintain resident files and ensure paperwork accuracy.
• Process rent collection and move-in/move-out procedures.
• Coordinate move-in scheduling and unit inspections.
• Follow up with prospects via phone and email.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, residents, and team members.
• Aids in monitoring staff in the Property Manager's absence.
