Job summary

Volunteers of America Texas in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of Park Meadows. You will process applications, manage rent calculations, maintain files, and support staff while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing Laws.

The role requires a high school diploma with several years of office experience, property management preferred; COS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and four years general office experience required.
• One year property management experience preferred.
• COS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Processes applications, certifications and re-certifications, completes lease packet, calculates rent, and prepares all documents per Fair Housing Laws.
• Responsible for collection of regular monthly rents from residents.
• Maintains resident and property files and waiting lists.
• Assists in the supervision of staff and building maintenance.
• Assists in all administrative duties for both internal and external agencies.
• Assumes responsibility of the property during brief absences of the Community Administrator.

Day-To-Day

• Processes applications, certifications and re-certifications, completes lease packet, calculates rent, and prepares all documents in accordance with the regulatory agency's specifications and Fair Housing Laws.
• Responsible for collection of regular monthly rents from property residents.
• Maintains resident and property files and waiting lists.
• Assists in the supervision of staff andbuilding maintenance.
• Assists in all administrative duties for both internal and external agencies.
• Assumes responsibility of the property during brief absences of the Community Administrator.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus four years general office experience. One year property management experience preferred.
• Professional COS certification preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver License and clear MVR
