Job summary

MAA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to lead leasing efforts and manage day-to-day property operations at a South Carolina community. You will collect rent, handle delinquent accounts, post deposits, and coordinate move-out inspections while delivering excellent customer service to residents and prospects.

The role also involves leasing apartments, managing the office, and supporting the team with administrative tasks to keep the property running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Assistant Property Manager and/or Leasing experience.
• Bookkeeping skills and/or experience.
• High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect rent and ancillary fees from residents, including delinquent accounts.
• Post income and deposits and perform routine financial checks.
• Inspect apartment homes after move-out and coordinate maintenance.
• Leasing apartments and handling sales/customer service with current and prospective residents.
• Provide office management and supporting tasks to the property team
