Location: Arbors at Creekside, Austin, Texas

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property Manager in the operation of a senior affordable housing community. Responsibilities include managing administrative tasks, assisting residents, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations such as HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily property operations to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests professionally.
  • Support leasing activities, including showings, applications, and background checks.
  • Manage rent collections, enforce lease terms, and address delinquencies.
  • Maintain records of tenant interactions, financial transactions, and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff for work order completion.
  • Ensure compliance with all housing regulations and guidelines.
  • Prepare reports on occupancy, financial status, and other metrics.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in property management is a plus.
  • Experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations including HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 is preferred.

Reports To: Property Manager

Work Environment: Office setting within the housing community, interacting with residents and staff.
