Job summary

Rocky Mountain Communities in Colorado is seeking an Assistant Property Manager – Affordable Housing to support HUD‑assisted and LIHTC properties. Under the direction of the Property Manager, you will handle resident intake, leasing, certifications, and file compliance while supporting occupancy and customer service.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in property management, knowledge of HUD/LIHTC programs, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with property management systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in property management, affordable housing, or lease-up operations.
• Working knowledge of HUD and/or LIHTC programs or strong willingness to learn.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily property operations including resident inquiries, leasing activity, work order coordination, and vendor communication.
• Support lease-up efforts by processing applications, scheduling tours, coordinating move-ins, and supporting occupancy benchmarks.
• Conduct unit inspections, move-in/move-out inspections, and common-area walkthroughs.
• Provide professional front-office coverage and resident customer service.
• Assist with rent collection tracking and delinquency follow-up.
