Job summary

Liberty Military Housing seeks an Assistant Property Manager in Twentynine Palms, CA. You will handle day-to-day bookkeeping, supervise on-site staff, and deliver exceptional resident service in support of LMH's mission.

Responsibilities include rent collection, budget support, liaising with vendors, maintaining ledgers in Payscan and Yardi, and performing general office duties. The role requires flexibility, travel to regional locations, and a positive, professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential property management or administrative/bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel) and PMS software (Yardi, Payscan).
• Fair Housing certification required or must be obtained within 2 weeks of employment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills."

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping of the community, including paying bills, PO creation, A/P/A/R, delinquencies, invoicing.
• Assist District Manager with community budget and financial goals.
• Assist with training, coaching, and supervision of office staff.
• Collect rents and send delinquency/balance-due notices.
• Maintain accurate records of bookkeeping transactions and reconciliations.
• Communicate with vendors regarding billing and contracts.
• Promote resident relations and respond to concerns promptly.
• Assist Customer Service Representatives and office staff with duties.
• Perform general office tasks and data entry in Payscan, Yardi, and other systems.
• Attend meetings and travel to regional locations as needed.
