Job summary

Stream Realty Partners is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support a portfolio of commercial properties. You will collaborate with Property Managers on building operations, tenant relations, and vendor coordination, while helping with budgeting, reporting, and compliance requirements.

The role emphasizes teamwork, communication, and proactive issue resolution, with opportunities to grow within Stream’s property management team and develop market knowledge across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• 2+ years in Commercial Property Management preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication; experience with tenants/vendors.
• Experience using real estate software (Yardi, MRI, Kardin, AvidXchange, IMPAK or similar).
• Basic accounting knowledge and skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Desire to learn and grow in Stream’s property management department.
• Aligns with Stream’s core values: Smart, Honest, Nice, Passionate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with building operations issues with Property Managers.
• Work with vendors to ensure service contract compliance.
• Assist in vendor contract recommendations/processing.
• Ensure compliance with codes, policies, and directives.
• Answer office calls and assist callers.
• Receive work order requests and coordinate with technicians/vendors.
• Schedule activities, move-ins/move-outs, verify insurance.
• Assist in rent collections and related follow-ups.
• Code invoices for payment correctly.
• Prepare monthly financial reports per owner needs.
• Assist in annual operating and capital budgets preparation and reconciliations.
• Coordinate insurance, electricity procurement, and real estate tax reviews as needed.
• Ensure management agreements compliance.
• Support accounting, leasing, marketing, and construction needs.
• Assist in lease compliance understanding.
