Fairstead ESC LLC is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for an affordable housing community in Boaz, AL. The role supports the Property Manager in daily operations, lease administration, and resident relations.

Responsibilities include ensuring HUD compliance, managing arrears, renewing leases, coordinating maintenance, and delivering excellent resident service. Competitive benefits and an emphasis on community impact are offered.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in affordable housing leasing or property management.
• Knowledge of the local residential market.
• Experience with Yardi, RealPage and EIV systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to learn and work with property management applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager to ensure compliance with HUD 4350.3.
• Support lease renewals and arrears tracking.
• Coordinate resident services and respond to questions promptly.
• Oversee maintenance coordination and REAC readiness tasks.
• Process leases, evictions, and related documentation.
