Shelter Corporation is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Woodland Park Apartments in Cottage Grove, MN. You will assist in leasing, resident relations, collections, and compliance within LIHTC properties, partnering with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure smooth community operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to professional service for residents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years of affordable housing or LIHTC experience preferred.
• Experience with LIHTC compliance, income certifications, leasing, collections, and resident relations preferred.
• Experience with Yardi or a similar property management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support leasing and lease-up activities, including applications and move-ins/outs.
• Provide responsive, professional service to prospective residents throughout the leasing process.
• Process rent payments and maintain accurate resident ledgers; assist with delinquency management.
• Support LIHTC compliance and resident file documentation; ensure audit-ready records.
• Coordinate with maintenance team for work orders, unit turns, and inspections.
• Assist with reporting related to occupancy, delinquency, leasing activity, and compliance.
• Reinforce property procedures and assist with special projects as needed.
