Two Coast Living seeks an Assistant Property Manager to support managing a multifamily property in Gaithersburg, MD.
You will oversee leasing, maintenance, admin tasks, and reporting, using AMSI and Entrata to drive revenue and ensure accurate records and on-time rent collection.
This role requires two+ years in multifamily property management and strong communication and leadership skills; high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience is acceptable.
As an Assistant Property Manager, you support managing a multifamily property in various areas, including leasing oversight, maintenance oversight, administrative functions, and operational reporting.
Using your two-plus years of multifamily property management experience, you will work with a Property Manager or Area Manager to manage a team of leasing and maintenance professionals to provide exceptional service and support to our residents, employees, and vendors. You will use your experience with multifamily property management software such as AMSI and Entrata to drive revenue and ensure competitive rental rates at leasing and accurate recordkeeping, reporting, and timely rent collection each month. Your keen eye for detail is essential for prioritizing work and ensuring that the property always looks its best and operates at its peak.
You aren’t afraid to engage in difficult conversations with employees and residents, hearing their concerns and issues and seeking to understand and find a resolution; this may mean escalating concerns promptly to your supervisor for further review. You will work full-time, generally on the busiest days of the week, including Fridays and Saturdays weekly (and at least one Sunday a month) and on Holidays, during peak business hours, including at least one closing shift weekly. During high‑traffic holiday periods, the position is scheduled according to Company standards; the supervisor must approve schedules.
