Job summary

ITAC Solutions is assisting a housing client in Waco, TX, to hire an Assistant Property Manager dedicated to leasing, resident services, and administrative coordination. The role blends property operations with community impact to support residents and ensure smooth daily workflows.

You will handle leasing, move-ins/move-outs, inspections, and file management while ensuring accurate financial records. HUD and LIHTC compliance, plus coordination with vendors and Central Office, are key

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Ability to obtain Public Housing Management Certificate within one year.
  • Ability to obtain Tax Credit Specialist certification after one year.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and eligibility for company fleet insurance.
  • Ability to work effectively with residents from diverse backgrounds.
  • Confidential handling of resident, financial, and housing information.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with leasing, move-ins/move-outs, inspections, recertifications, and resident files.
  • Collect rents, prepare deposits, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Process delinquent notices, rent changes, and eviction documentation
  • Support resident counseling and connect residents with appropriate community resources
  • Maintain compliance with HUD and LIHTC requirements
  • Help manage office operations and team members when the Manager is absent
  • Coordinate with residents, vendors, contractors, Resident Councils, and Central Office

Job description

Our client is looking for a hands‑on Assistant Property Manager to help keep a housing community running smoothly while making a meaningful difference for its residents. This is an opportunity to combine property operations, resident relations, leasing, and administrative coordination in a role where your work directly supports housing in the Waco community.

  • 4-day workweek — Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM
