Job summary

Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years of related experience, with a background in property management or sales/customer service, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of related experience and/or training.
• Prior experience in property management or managerial experience in a sales/customer service role.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance may be required for traveling between properties.

Responsibilities

• Leasing, collections, and resident services: address delinquencies, help with payments, process rentals, move-ins, renewals, and refunds.
• Managerial support: assist in absence of the Property Manager, attend staff meetings, process payments and purchase orders.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Property Manager, you will play a vital role in the smooth operation of the property under the guidance of the Property Manager. You will assist with leasing, collections, resident services, and maintenance oversight while ensuring the property’s high standards and providing top-notch service to both residents and staff.

Essential Responsibilities

Leasing, Collections, and Resident Services:

• Address delinquent accounts and initiate the eviction process, filing necessary documents and attending court hearings if required.
• Assist in following up on delinquencies and ensure timely collection of payments.
• Handle all activities related to apartment rentals, move-ins, resident insurance, and lease renewals as needed.
• Process security deposit refunds and ensure positive resident relations.
• Promote resident retention programs and address resident concerns promptly.

Managerial Support

• Provide support in the absence of the Property Manager and assist in managerial duties as directed.
• Attend staff meetings and take minutes when necessary.
• Assist in collection and processing of all payments and purchase orders.

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
