A leading management company is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in San Diego to support daily operations and leasing activities. The role requires strong organization, teamwork, and communication skills while overseeing property management tasks and maintaining resident relations. Candidates should ideally have an Associate's degree and be proficient in property management software.
Responsible to assist Property Manager with all on-site day-to-day residential property operations. Take over the role of Property Manager in their absence.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Indirectly supervises employee(s) in the Leasing staff. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and / or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of OneSite, Yardi, Rentroll Internet software; Excel Spreadsheet software and Word Word Processing software.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Fair Housing Certification,A Valid, Unexpired Driver's License
Other Skills and Abilities
Ability to speak fluent Spanish may be required for communication with residents based on property demographics.

Must be able to travel 20% of the time
