Job Duties
Tenant Relations
  • Manage tenant relationships and retention through excellent customer service
  • Conduct regular face-to-face visits, calls, and emails with tenants
  • Respond promptly to tenant needs and coordinate issue resolution with staff
  • Enforce lease provisions appropriately, with leadership approval when necessary
  • Plan and manage tenant relations events within budget
Property Operations
  • Perform regular property inspections, including monthly checks with maintenance and vendors
  • Coordinate property modifications and maintenance
  • Manage service contractors and maintain comprehensive property records
  • Maintain current building plans, available space data, and drawings
  • Support marketing efforts for available units
  • Understand lease language for informed decision-making
  • Coordinate tenant improvements ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational procedures
Accounting/Finance
  • Review and approve tenant billback charges and monthly billings
Requirements
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
Experience
  • At least 2 years in multi-family property management or leasing
  • Experience with Rent Manager software is a plus
Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven client and customer relationship skills
  • Sound judgment, attention to detail, and decision-making ability
