Job summary

ICO Group of Companies in West LA seeks an Assistant Commercial Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial and industrial properties. You will manage tenant relations, maintenance, inspections, and expense oversight, serving as the primary liaison to tenants and vendors.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial property management, strong communication, and the ability to travel between properties and stay on-call for emergencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in property management in a commercial real estate environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to multi-task.
• Travel between properties frequently and be on-call for after-hours emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned commercial/industrial properties.
• Serve as primary contact for tenants and vendors; respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Direct daily supervision of building engineers and janitorial staff.
• Manage work orders and general expense management.
• Perform property inspections and related tasks.

ICO Group of Companies based in West LA is seeking a reliable Assistant Commercial Property Manager. This person is responsible for the day-to-day operations of their assigned commercial / industrial properties including tenant relations, maintenance & property inspections, and expense management. The Assistant Property Manager plays an instrumental role in the property management department’s success, and they are the primary representative of ICO Group of Companies to our tenants and property vendors. Our assets: offices, retail, and industrial.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of assigned properties including tenant relations, maintenance and property inspections, and expense management.
• Serve as company’s primary point of contact for our tenants and vendors. Including on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Accounts receivable / accounts payable.
• Daily supervision of building engineers and janitorial staff.
• Work order management.
• Expense management.
• Property Inspections

Qualifications & Core Competencies:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, problem solving, analytical thinking, decision making, personal credibility, and computer competency.
• 5+ years’ experience in property management in a commercial real estate environment.
• Ability to travel between properties frequently and be on-call for after-hours emergencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.) and Yardi.
