Job summary

Lynco Properties is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the property manager in overseeing financial and marketing activities while interacting with renters. The role covers rent processing, applications, tenant tours, and coordinating maintenance to keep properties in top condition.

Qualifications

  • Have previous assistant property manager experience for a large property.
  • Demonstrates the strong organizational skills necessary to oversee a number of different properties.
  • Possesses knowledge of the real estate industry, including market trends, prices, and state and federal housing regulations.
  • Proficient in basic computer programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Demonstrates familiarity with financial management software used to balance budget and track payments.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to various property sites.
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Exhibits solid communication skills, with an ability to calmly resolve disputes or complaints.
  • W orks well with a team.
  • Interacts and engages in a friendly manner with potential and current tenants.
  • Demonstrates ability to think creatively in order to develop new marketing and recruiting techniques.

Work Environment
  • The workday will be spent in a temperature controlled management office, handling paperwork.
  • A significant amount of physical activity (walking, climbing stairs, etc.) is required on a daily basis.
  • Flexibility is required in terms of working hours, since many tenant inquiries and issues may need to be addressed on weekends.
