Assist the property manager in overseeing the daily operations of the apartment complex. Responsibilities include reviewing applications, applying resident qualification criteria, renting apartments, processing re-certifications, and managing shared facilities.

Administrative Duties

  1. Handle correspondence, calls, and mail professionally, including confidential materials.
  2. Maintain accurate, accessible files and records, ensuring timely updates.
  3. Greet visitors, screen calls, take work orders, schedule appointments, and organize activities.
  4. Prepare and review routine correspondence.
  5. Enter work orders into the system.
  6. Process applications and ensure property compliance.

Compliance with HUD and Tax Credit Affordable Housing

  1. Send verification forms, track their status.
  2. Process income verifications and prepare eligibility calculations.
  3. Collaborate with Compliance Specialist to complete necessary documentation and follow up for timely move-ins.
  4. Monitor recertification schedules and ensure timely completion.
  5. Maintain familiarity with compliance software.
  6. Assist in preparing files for audits.
  7. Manage waitlist and application records.
  8. Communicate with Housing Authority regarding vouchers and documentation.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and report breaches.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Organizational and administrative skills.

Job Type: Full-time

  • Benefits include 401(k), health, life, and vision insurance, paid time off.

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.

Experience:

  • Customer service experience preferred.

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License preferred.

Relocation:

  • Harrisburg, PA: required before starting.
