Gateway Management Company is seeking a part-time Assistant Property Manager for our Tranquility at Griffin apartment community in Griffin, GA. The role involves assisting with daily operations, including helping prospective tenants, answering phones, routing maintenance requests, and supporting the Property Manager.

Responsibilities:
  1. Complete lease applications accurately, assist with verification, and notify applicants of results.
  2. Maintain records in property management software and organize reports and paperwork.
  3. Coordinate with management and accounting to ensure rent collection and data entry.
  4. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and compliance manuals.
  5. Develop knowledge of the property and local market.
Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Experience as an Assistant Property Manager or in customer service related to property management.
  3. Knowledge of federal and state low-income housing guidelines.
  4. Effective communication skills.
  5. Basic financial and accounting knowledge.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
  1. Prolonged computer use and communication via phone, email, and face-to-face.
  2. Light to medium physical activity including standing, walking, stair climbing, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
  3. Daily property inspections and resident interactions.
  4. Potential evening/weekend work and on-call duties.
