Job summary

Mission Rock Residential is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Gallatin, TN to support day-to-day property operations and deliver outstanding resident service.

You will help screen applicants, explain leases, and coordinate move-ins, while maintaining a strong online presence and positive survey scores. This role requires local leasing experience and knowledge of Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of onsite leasing experience.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations under the Property Manager.
• Communicate regularly with residents to ensure on-time rent payments.

What You’ll Do

Under the direction of the Property Manager, this role assists in maintaining compliance and the successful day to day operations in all aspects of property management. This role requires regular communication with residents to ensure on time rent payment, and adherence to lease agreements.

Your day-to-day may include:

• Maintain the highest level of customer service and online presence to obtain satisfactory scores on surveys/reviews from residents and prospects.
• Responsible for having a thorough understanding of policies related to screening qualifications and application criteria, lease paperwork, rent collection, and move-in/move-out procedures and be able to explain these items to existing and prospective residents.
• Reviews resident files and accounting records to determine unpaid and/or late fees owed, communicates with residents regarding outstanding balances, implements procedures for collecting on delinquent balances, and enforces the lease.
• Tour community, amenities and vacant apartments with prospects and have current knowledge of apartment specifications, vacancies, notices, and rental rates.

Requirements

What You Bring

• A minimum of 1-2 years onsite as a Leasing Consultant required.
• Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite; including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Thorough understanding and application of Fair Housing laws.

The expected compensation range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
