Job summary

RealREPP, a nationally recognized recruiting firm, is recruiting for an Assistant Property Manager in Chicago to join a growing commercial owner/developer’s portfolio. You will handle day-to-day operations across mixed-use assets and support the management team.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in commercial property management (industrial and office), strong accounting/budgeting experience, and the ability to coordinate with tenants and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 2–3 years of commercial property management experience.
• Experience managing commercial industrial and office assets.
• Accounting, budgeting, and CAM reconciliation experience required.
• Experience running monthly reports.
• Must be a team player and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Real estate license required or obtainable within 6–8 months.

RealREPP, is a nationally recognized, full-service recruiting firm and is currently teaming with a growing commercial real estate owner/developer to assist them in recruiting for a Assistant Property Manager in Chicago.

This APM will assist in the day-to-day management of a commercial portfolio of mixed-use assets in the Chicago market.

This position offers room for growth within the rewarding and team oriented commercial property management industry.

This owner/developer is one of the most stable, but active developers in the region. They focus on sustainable development and pushing the boundaries of what you can do from a commercial development standpoint.

The APM will oversee the monthly reporting functions, assist in the budgeting process and will also build relationships with the tenants and vendors. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of commercial property management experience with a majority of that experience working on commercial industrial and office assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree - required
• 2-3 years of commercial property management experience
• Must have experience in managing commercial industrial and office assets.
• Property management accounting experience, budgeting, and CAM reconciliation experience required.
• Prior experience in running monthly reports
• Excellent customer service skills
• Real Estate license is a requirement but if a candidate does not have one they ca obtain it within the first 6-8 months in the role.
• Must be a team player and have the ability to wear many different hats and prioritize effectively in a fast paced environment.
