Responsibilities of the Assistant Property Manager
  • Support daily property management operations for a residential community while assisting with administrative and resident service functions
  • Serve as a professional and responsive point of contact for residents, vendors, and prospective tenants
  • Assist with resident inquiries, maintenance requests, move‑ins, move‑outs, and general lease administration activities
  • Maintain accurate records, resident files, correspondence, and property‑related documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Coordinate with maintenance staff and outside vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders and property needs
  • Assist with rent collection tracking, invoice processing, and other administrative reporting responsibilities as needed
  • Support property inspections, community initiatives, and special projects while contributing to a positive resident experience
Qualifications of the Assistant Property Manager
  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Business, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field
  • Previous administrative, customer service, hospitality, leasing, or property management experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and customer‑focused demeanor
  • Dependable, punctual, and available to work onsite in Edgewater from June 15th through the end of August
  • Motivated and adaptable professional with a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
