Essential Job Functions

1. Communicate problems and special cases, making recommendations to the Property Manager and Supervisor.
2. Process re-certifications, including interviews, form assistance, rent calculations, and lease preparation.
3. Inspect site grounds and common areas regularly.
4. Monitor the make-ready status of vacant apartments.
5. Conduct home visits, marketing outreach, and act as a liaison for residents with agencies.
6. Manage rent collection and follow-up on delinquent accounts and evictions per policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a 2-year or 4-year degree is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• At least 2 years of affordable housing leasing experience.
• Ability to obtain the Illinois AMP Leasing Certificate.
• Experience with the Tax Credit program and affordable housing.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Positive attitude and effective interpersonal skills.
