Title: Assistant Property Manager (RAD)
Reports To: Property Manager
Department/Division: Operations/Property & Asset Management
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Responsible for assisting in managerial and administrative work involving the management and operation of INLIVIAN's affordable properties and non-residential properties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
High School Diploma or GED required. An associate's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field is preferred. At least one year of clerical or property management experience or equivalent education and training is required.
Certification(s) required within 12 months of employment: Accredited Residential Manager, Enterprise Income Verification System (EIV), Fair Housing, Tax Credit (if applicable), and HCV Rent Calculation.
Thorough knowledge of INLIVIAN policies, HUD regulations, housing standards, and social services. Good leasing, recertification, and inspection knowledge. Ability to document accurately, read complex material, establish effective relationships, communicate clearly, counsel residents, manage demands, and operate computer software.
The employee reports to and is accountable to the Property Manager. Work is planned independently, with regular review for accuracy and compliance.
Routine duties follow established policies, laws, and regulations. Decisions are made based on circumstances, prior experience, and supervisor guidance, involving coordination and prioritization of tasks.
This role significantly impacts residents, INLIVIAN's reputation, and community relations by ensuring effective property management and compliance.
Work involves indoor and outdoor activities, physical exertion, and handling emergencies. Ability to sit, stand, bend, push, pull, and use fingers is necessary. Vision and hearing must be adequately corrected. Work may involve exposure to fumes, dust, and odors.
Primarily office-based, with outdoor visits to properties. Conditions are generally controlled but may involve outdoor risks during site visits.
Valid North or South Carolina driver's license required. Confidentiality must be maintained. Continuous improvement and education are expected.
