Join us as an Assistant Property Manager at Arcan Capital

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide professional assistance to residents via phone, email, and in person.
  • Support leasing efforts, verify applications, ensure Fair Housing compliance, and lease apartments.
  • Assist with staff training and effective sales techniques.
  • Lead rent collection, manage delinquent accounts, and initiate lease terminations or legal actions when necessary.
  • Contribute to budget management by making fiscally responsible decisions.
  • Maintain accurate resident records, process payments, and oversee accounting functions.
  • Conduct move-in and move-out inspections to ensure quality standards.
  • Act as Property Manager in their absence and adapt to evolving needs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum two years’ experience in property management or related field; supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic accounting and bookkeeping.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software like Yardi and Rent Café.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Leadership and team collaboration skills with a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and regulations.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred but Not Required:
  • Experience in customer service, leasing, hospitality, or administrative roles.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
