Job summary

Apartment Managing Professionals in Texas seeks an Assistant Maintenance Director to oversee maintenance across multifamily communities, handling HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and pool systems. Qualifications

• HVAC, EPA, and CPO certified required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, with at least one (1) year in apartment maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic electric, plumbing, drywall/painting, carpentry, ceramic/tile, and appliance installation/removal and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, flooring, carpentry, dry wall, and pool.
• Ensure work orders are responded to within 24-48 hours and completed as soon as possible.
• Assists the Maintenance Director in routine inspections throughout the property to ensure safety standards are being met and compliant with local, regional, and national government.
• Respond to tenant requests in a timely manner, delivering excellent customer service.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws. Consistently abide by Fair Housing regulations.
• Perform all other duties as required and assigned
