The Minnesota Department of Transportation seeks an Assistant Projects Engineer in St. Paul to support State Aid roadway projects.

This position assists the State Aid Projects Engineer with tasks that include acting as a technical liaison and resource to leadership, District State Aid Engineers, MnDOT and local agencies on the State Aid roadway system, this includes administrative Rules 8820, other programs, committees and working groups. Specific programs supported are the State Aid Design Advisory Committee, State Park Road Account, the Variance Program, and the Local Partnership Program.
This position is located at Central Office in St. Paul and may have the flexibility to telework, work a hybrid schedule, or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications

Licensure as a professional engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience and Interior Design (AELSLAGID). If obtaining licensure through comity (reciprocity), a temporary permit from AELSLAGID must be provided to MnDOT HR prior to starting employment. AND experience in:
