Your Next Opportunity

The Assistant Scheduler is responsible for assisting the Project Scheduler, Senior Project Scheduler, or Lead Scheduler in developing, implementing, and maintaining bid and project schedules. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to learn industry standards and Rosendin-specific scheduling methods. This position is based in-office or on-site; it is not remote.

What You'll Do
  1. Support the Project, Senior, or Lead Scheduler.
  2. Follow directions from site and corporate management.
  3. Learn construction means and methods for subcontractor scope delivery.
  4. Collaborate with the Primary Scheduler to develop project-specific work breakdown structures (WBS).
  5. Assist with schedule reviews and updates, including activities, relationships, constraints, and milestones.
  6. Learn and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

  3. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  4. Experience with Microsoft Office applications.

What You Bring to Us
  1. This is an entry-level position requiring a positive attitude and strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  2. High school diploma required; college diploma is a plus.
  3. Construction industry experience is advantageous.
Travel

Up to 10% travel may be required.

Working Conditions

The work environment involves sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work is primarily indoors with environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. Noise levels vary from low to medium, potentially loud on-site. Reasonable accommodations are provided in accordance with ADA and applicable laws. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. is expected.
