MWH is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the team in the engineering, coordination, and construction of civil, architectural, and structural packages for a new WWTP and RO Water Treatment Plant expansion in Fort Myers, FL. Reports to the Senior PM and helps ensure work is on budget and on schedule per contract documents.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering/construction management and at least 4 years in heavy civil or related construction, with on-site experience

Formación

• A Bachelor of Science or higher university degree in engineering, construction management or a related degree.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and support to the Trade Package Project Managers and Site Superintendents.
• Procurement - Support Project Managers and Contracts Team in the development of trade and equipment procurement documents to ensure all trade contracts, services, and materials to perform specific tasks are secured and available when needed.
• Change Management - Coordinate with PMs and Superintendents to review and evaluate proposed change orders against the contract documents and to assess the validity of the proposed cost estimates for the work.
• Scheduling – Support PMs in weekly progress updates with the trade contractors and program schedule team.
• Shop Drawings, RFIs, As-Built Drawings – Coordinate with Project Engineering team to ensure timely processing of submittals and RFIs and accurate maintenance of As-Built drawings for assigned trade packages.
• Issues Management – Attend routine meetings and track critical issues requiring resolution to maintain construction progress.
• Quality – Responsible for understanding quality requirements of assigned trade packages and coordinating with trade contractors and Program Quality team to ensure that quality activities are planned, executed, and documented according to contract requirements.
• Safety - Responsible for the safe conduct of MWH personnel to ensure a zero accident project.
• Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
