Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning, coordination, and execution of utility infrastructure projects.

You will work with engineering, construction, project controls, procurement, and client personnel to ensure safety, schedule, and budget adherence. Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in project management or related fields and familiarity with gas/electric utility environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, project engineering, construction management, engineering, or a related utility/infrastructure environment.
• Experience supporting engineering and/or construction projects from planning and design through construction and closeout.
• Working knowledge of project management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, change management, and project controls.
• Ability and willingness to travel to client offices, facilities, and active project/construction sites as required.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Project Manager with the overall planning, coordination, and execution of utility projects.
• Support early project development activities, including scope definition, estimating, scheduling, constructability reviews, and project planning.
• Coordinate activities between engineering, construction, project controls, procurement, permitting, operations, contractors, and client teams.
• Assist with monitoring and managing project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and deliverables.
• Maintain project documentation and tracking tools, including action item lists, project logs, change logs, risk registers, meeting minutes, and technical records.
• Support the development and review of project schedules, cost forecasts, progress reports, and management reporting.
