Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking a full-time Assistant Utility Line Project Manager to support Substations, Transmission, and Distribution projects while ensuring contractual adherence.

You will assist in budgeting, scheduling, coordinating field work, and maintaining client relationships. A minimum of 3 years of related experience, OSHA 10, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years related experience or educations
• Current knowledge or utility line and substation safety
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office and project software)
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain
• High School Diploma/GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, background check and MVR check (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Help PM to oversee Substations, Transmission, and/or Distribution projects to meet contractual adherence
• Assist to develop and manage the project budget, financial tracking, and owner billings and master project schedule
• Assist to coordinate construction efforts with management and site supervision
• Help Ensure subcontractors meet scope, schedule, and budget
• Manage material procurement to support the project schedule and budget.
• Manage quality and productivity of crews and ensure efficient use of materials & equipment
• Maintain client relationships to foster long term client satisfaction
• Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Travel as required
