Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Kearney, Nebraska is seeking an Assistant Utility Line Project Manager to support Substations, Transmission, and Distribution projects.

You will help develop and manage the project budget, financial tracking, owner billings, and the master project schedule while coordinating construction with management and site supervision. This role requires 3+ years related experience or education, OSHA 10 or ability to obtain, a High School Diploma/GED, a valid

• Minimum 3 years related experience or educations.
• Current knowledge or utility line and substation safety.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office and project software).
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, background check and MVR check (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Help PM to oversee Substations, Transmission, and/or Distribution projects to meet contractual adherence.
• Assist to develop and manage the project budget, financial tracking, and owner billings and master project schedule.
• Assist to coordinate construction efforts with management and site supervision.
• Help Ensure subcontractors meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Manage material procurement to support the project schedule and budget.
• Manage quality and productivity of crews and ensure efficient use of materials & equipment.
• Maintain client relationships to foster long term client satisfaction.
• Comply with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel as required.
