Ella SA Contracting is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support planning and execution of underground utility construction projects in San Antonio. You will coordinate field operations, maintain project documentation, and help ensure safety, schedule, and budget compliance.

The role collaborates with the Project Manager, Superintendent and Foreman to deliver quality work, monitor costs, and manage permits, RFIs, and as-built documentation. This position is based on-site in Texas.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication skills for office and field coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to work in both office and outdoor job site environments.
• Knowledge of underground utility construction basics and safety practices.
• Familiarity with project management/scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and as-built drawings.

Responsabilidades

• Assists in planning and breaking down tasks; coordinates daily/weekly work plans with field teams.
• Tracks field progress, maintains project records, and supports cost tracking.
• Supports three-week look-ahead scheduling with foreman and superintendent.
• Coordinates equipment, materials, and subcontractor activities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintains 811 tickets, permits, inspections, and utility locates.
• Monitors safety practices and supports quality assurance through documentation.
