Job summary

Global Technical Talent is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for a 12-month contract in Columbus, OH. You will support transmission line, substation, and communications construction projects across OH, PA, NJ, and WV/MD, reporting to Senior PMs and managing cost and schedule.

The role expects 2-5 years PM experience in construction, a bachelor’s in engineering or construction management, and travel within the region; onsite work is about 80% office, 20% field. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 2-5 years in a construction project management role (preferred).
• PMP certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior PMs with cost management and schedule tracking.
• Develop scope, work plans, and procurement strategies with clients and engineers.
• Coordinate permits, RFPs, bids, and contractor awards.
• Lead on-site progress meetings and manage reporting to the Lead PM.
• Maintain project budgets and financial forecasts; update accruals monthly.
