Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior or Principal Project Manager to support an expanding transmission portfolio in New Albany, Ohio. This role demands a candidate who can adapt quickly, overseeing complex infrastructure projects with a strong focus on safety, budget, and time management.

The ideal applicant must possess a solid background in project management within the transmission or utility sectors, ensuring effective communication with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more intermediate to complex transmission projects.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Lead stakeholder meetings and provide detailed project updates.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and external partners.
• Monitor cost, schedule, and performance; reallocate resources as needed.
• Mentor junior PMs and potentially supervise up to 2 direct reports.

Skills

Project Management experience within Transmission, Electrical Utility, or Power Systems

Managing large, complex construction or infrastructure projects

Stakeholder management (internal & external)

Risk management and quality control

Project planning, scheduling, and budgeting

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years relevant experience or Associate’s degree + 5 years relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree + 5 years relevant experience or Associate’s degree + 7 years relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree + 7 years relevant experience or Associate’s degree + 9 years relevant experience

Tools

PMP Certification (strongly preferred)
