Job summary

Patriot Erectors, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager by planning, tracking, and reporting project activities. The role includes site visits to monitor progress, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within budget, and coordinating between office and field operations.

You will review drawings, develop schedules and budgets with the PM, coordinate shop and field teams, manage vendor relationships, and assist with change orders while maintaining strong

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of general project or construction experience; commercial steel fabrication experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with Tekla preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and contract documents.
• Develop, update, and monitor project schedules, budgets, and activities.
• Coordinate with shop, field teams, and customers to keep on schedule and maintain quality.
• Establish fabrication schedules, milestones, and objectives.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and monitor performance.
• Provide regular progress and budget updates to the PM.
• Conduct site visits to verify progress and address field issues.
