Job summary

First Onsite in Indianapolis seeks an Assistant Project Manager to help translate plans into action, review proposals, prepare schedules, and support crews. You’ll maintain records and collaborate with leadership to keep projects on track.

You will monitor budgets and profit margins, manage change orders, and ensure safety and quality standards, acting as a bridge between clients, subcontractors, and in-house teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in restoration/construction with water/flood/fire/mold remediation knowledge.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Compliance with CCS regulations in Indiana may apply.

Responsibilities

• Understand, evaluate, develop, and execute the scope of work with leadership.
• Solicit, receive, and approve subcontractor proposals within budget.
• Prepare project schedules including crew and subcontractor timelines.
• Manage, support, and assist job crews; fill in as needed including physical labor.
• Create and maintain job activity paperwork and inventories; maintain daily log.
