Job summary

Press Builders, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for high-end residential construction in New York City. The role focuses on coordinating project activities, managing schedules, and supporting project administration on site.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in construction coordination, a related degree, and strong organizational and communication skills. Procore/Bluebeam experience is a plus; health benefits and PTO are offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in construction management, project coordination, or related field.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is a plus.
• Knowledge of residential construction methods and building systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination and administration.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and design teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Monitor material deliveries and lead times.
• Assist with change orders, RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes.
• Conduct site visits and support quality control efforts.
• Help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain organized project records and reporting.
