Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support pre-construction of renewable energy and power projects in the Southwest. You’ll coordinate schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications alongside seasoned project managers.

Based in Las Vegas or Phoenix, the role requires travel to project sites and client locations; you’ll help move projects from development to construction and grow with a collaborative, growth‑minded team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project management, construction, engineering, energy, or infrastructure.
• Interest in renewable energy and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and client locations.
• Comfortable working with project schedules, budgets, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-construction planning and execution for renewable energy projects.
• Assist with schedules, budgets, cost estimates, scopes of work.
• Coordinate with developers, owners, utilities, engineers, EPC contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Track project action items, risks, and key milestones.
• Prepare project updates and leadership presentations.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
