Job summary

Energy Project Solutions (EPS) seeks an Assistant Project Manager for our Pre-Construction Services group to support renewable energy and power generation projects from feasibility through construction readiness.

You will coordinate schedules, budgets, risks, and stakeholder communications, working with developers, owners, utilities, engineers, and EPC contractors, while traveling to project sites and client locations as needed. This role is based in Las Vegas, NV or Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project management, construction, engineering, energy, or infrastructure.
• Interest in renewable energy, power generation and large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and workstreams.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with pre-construction planning and execution for renewable energy and power generation projects.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, scopes of work, and development plans.
• Coordinate with developers, owners, utilities, engineers, EPC contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Track project action items, deliverables, decisions, risks, and key milestones.
• Support site due diligence, permitting, interconnection, constructability, and development activities.
• Assist with reviewing engineering documents, drawings, specifications, estimates, and project schedules.
• Help develop bid packages, procurement strategies, and project execution plans. Participate in project meetings and maintain clear communication between teams.
• Assist with identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies.
• Support the transition of projects from pre-construction into construction.
• Prepare project updates, presentations, reports for clients and leadership.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
