Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Development Services to support planning and development of large-scale renewable energy projects. You will coordinate development activities, track schedules and deliverables, assist with permitting and due diligence, and help move projects toward readiness.

This role offers growth in a multidisciplinary environment with experienced PMs and utilities.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project management, renewable energy, engineering, consulting, infrastructure, or related field.
• Interest in utility-scale renewable energy development.
• Experience coordinating deliverables and schedules with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and coordination of utility-scale renewable energy projects from early development to readiness.
• Assist with project schedules, development plans, budgets, deliverables, and key milestones.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, landowners, agencies, utilities, and other stakeholders to keep development on track.
• Support permitting, site control, interconnection, due diligence, and environmental review.
• Track project action items, risks, deadlines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
• Prepare project updates, reports, and presentations for clients and leadership.
