Job summary

Acutron, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Honolulu, HI to support the Project Management Department with project setup, oversight, and documentation. This role provides a path to progression into a Project Manager position within a dynamic mechanical insulation and firestopping team.

Responsibilities include assisting with submittals, material ordering, coordinating jobsite passes, and supporting estimating and accounting functions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Previous work experience in construction or related field preferred.
• Estimating software (e.g.: FastWrap, Blue Beam) and AutoCAD experience a plus.
• MS Office skills (MS Word and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist project management department in executing mechanical insulation and firestopping projects from submittal/work order package preparation through project oversight and job closeout.
• Manage jobsite passes and training certifications.
• Review and mark mechanical drawings, and provide takeoffs and/or estimates as needed.
• Provide support to estimating and accounting departments.
